New generations of durum wheat have significantly higher yield potential, which puts production itself in the foreground. Profitability per unit area is significantly higher thanks to the competitive market.
Kapsur and Rocaillou are new winter durum wheats characterized by high yield and good quality according to all standards. The production technology does not differ much from the production of winter wheat (Triticum aestivum), therefore we are happy to recommend it to all interested farmers.
Durum wheat is specific in that the content of yellow pigment in the semolina is so high that during the production of pasta it is not necessary to add egg yolk, because the pasta already has a nice yellow color.
