By supporting farmers through the agricultural transition and helping bring high-quality food to the market, we are building an agile, resilient model that is constantly improving, with the aim of creating value.
As farmers, customers and colleagues of a group and its businesses, we are committed day in, day out, to making sustainability a pillar of our development.
For farmers, we develop high-potential channels based on approaches to farming that are sustainable in both environmental and economic terms. We encourage the agronomic and combinatorial solutions that are best adapted to our territories and our environment, support farmers in all their diversity, and seek out the best markets for our members’ production.
Working with them, we are advancing towards practices that make a positive contribution to the preservation of resources, ensure grain produced is safe and hygienic, support biodiversity and make decision-making tools an integral part of technical itineraries.
The agricultural transition is under way in both crop and livestock production, and it is bringing all farmers together. Close links between farmers and consumers are even more important now than ever before. They will help us build the food model of the future.
We are fully committed to ensuring that, at our origination facilities and on our processing sites alike, all our products meet the highest standards of food safety and nutritional value, environmental protection and respect for people. We believe in developing a range of markets – local, national and international – so that we can bring as many consumers as possible products that meet their wide-ranging expectations.

With its vison of supplying European market with sustainable and safe proteins, the soya Danube institution is supporting its members in progress toward change.
Actions and goals are based mostly on supporting the cultivation of sustainable soyabean. By developing the value chain of soya production in Europe, consumers are then certain that products are produced in Europe.
This system guarantees GMO-free soya production. It emphasizes traceability of crop from the seed. During the reception of the crop, a quick test is applied to control the GMO-free status of the soybean. Soya is stocked and treated separately from other crops in order to prevent pollution. After stock collection, an auditor company controls in an accredited laboratory the quality and the GMO-free status of the crop and in case of conformity, issues a certificate.
For Axereal, being a partner of Soya Danube means growing sustainably and developing its soybean activity with high quality standards.

ISCC stands for international sustainability and carbon certification. The certification goal is to impact positively on a more sustainable world by focusing in the protection of lands with a high biodiversity value and high carbon stock. It is pushing companies to protect soil, water and air.
This system guarantees sustainable crop production and its follow up.
For every region, a specific carbon-dioxide quota is determined for production.
This system puts forward green field where the crop has been produced even more than traceability. It requires that producers shall apply best practice in production.
For Axereal Croatia, this certification means focusing on its mass balance for its production of wheat, corn, rapeseed, and sunflower.
