Lexy is new variety of alternative two-row barley for dual purposes!
Thanks to its very good tolerance to low temperatures, we recommend Lexy for autumn and spring sowing. Thanks to its excellent tillering potential, this variety has a low sowing rate. The plant is low-growing and very stable, it does not lodge. Lexy is moderately sensitive to net blotch, so in order to preserve the plant mass healthy, we recommend fungicidal treatment with the fungicide. Lexy is a variety adaptable to different conditions and gives equally good results with somewhat more modest investments. The results of this year's harvest recorded record yields, namely in Donji Miholjac on 24.2 ha an average yield of 10,380 kg/ha was achieved, which confirms its exceptional potential.
