Comtesse

Comtesse is new winter brewing barley of French genetics, which represents an ideal combination of high yield and optimal malting properties. Already after the first harvest, Comtesse received the well-deserved title as the heir to the well-known Casanova variety. Thanks to intensive tillering where after coming out of winter dormancy you can see several lateral tillers that produce productive ears. It has a good tolerance to plant diseases, but we recommend protection with a fungicide to keep the plant biomass healthy. The yield potential is over 10 t/ha.
