Planet is the leading variety of malting barley in Europe! Thanks to its excellent characteristics, the malt produced from the Planet variety is used in many recipes for the production of beer, so we are not surprised by the fact that every third pint of beer in Europe is made from this particular barley! In addition to good quality, we must not forget the yield and stability that Planet ensures. The variety has been in our portfolio for more than 10 years, and rightly so! It has a good tolerance to low temperatures, overwinters well, and therefore has a flexible sowing period from the end of October until the middle of March.
