Celebrity - record yields

Among the novelties, we present Celebrity, the first variety of wheat in our portfolio with ear without awns. It is a slightly later variety, i.e., the variety with the longest growing season in our portfolio, which nevertheless achieves extremely high yields. As for quality, the weight per hectoliter ranges from 78 to 82 kg/hl, while the protein content is around 12%. In trials in which we tested different sowing density, Celebrity showed very good tillering ability. The ears were extremely large, with 8–10 ears and an average of five grains per ear, with a very large grain. Despite the excellent ability to compensate for a lower sowing rate, we recommend sowing 450–500 germinated grains/m². Celebrity is a variety that in intensive production conditions can achieve an extremely high yield, even from 11 to 12 t/ha. It is characterized by a very large grain, and the mass of 1,000 grains is about 45–50 g, which corresponds to a seed quantity of approximately 240–250 kg/ha at the recommended sowing rate.
